Scan Brazil Consulting was at the IBM SmartCamp in Rio this month.
The event gathers entrepreneurs and investors and hosted Jim Breyer the #1 Forbes investor and offered 100 startups from 8 Brazilian states the opportunity to show their business models focused on IBM's Smart Planet strategy. In Rio 5 finalists ran for the chance of representing Brazil in the SmartCamp finals.
Scan Brazil was invited to offer mentoring to finalists helping them to refine their business plans. IDXP was the selected startup to be at the global SmartCamp. Gustavo Lemos, founder of IDXP, created a technology for customer behavior analysis based on how they move inside the store. .
